Yes it can be disabled. If you want mt to write down how, let me know I'd have to look it up but can do so. As somewhat of a laptop junky, right through my school days till now, I wanted something a little different. The Samsung NC10 is all it's cracked up to be and more. It's fast, reliable, very quiet, stable, and the battery really can perform for 7 hours. The screen is clear, the touchpad does what a touchpad should do, though many people will find it a little annoying to get used too at first, the connectivity is fantastic, and I think the keyboard has to be one of the NC10's best assets. It's firm and not at all flimsy as one might expect from such a small machine. Ram is easy to fit, and I changed the 1 GB for a 2 GB stick in no time at all. It's simply the case of removing one screw, and if you have any familiarity with fullsized laptops, the spring-loaded ram is just what you'd expect. No hidden quirks or issues to deal with, this machine is a must have for anyone wishing to go for something a little different. Whether you like to surfe the web, play the odd game, read a book or take advantage of free Wifi at Starbuck's or your local supermarket. It also supports WEP encryption so that you can go somewhere public and use it without a load of people using your connection as well. On Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 01:10 AM (GMT), G. McFarlane wrote: Hi James Can you be a bit more specific about Joikuspot . Are you saying that if you go about with a laptop and your N95 this program sends a constant wifi signal from the phone which can then be picked up by the laptop? This would then save dongles etc. Does it use the higher speeds (I think it's HDSA or something like that), if it's available as opposed to 3G? Does it only work with 02 or would it work on other suppliers? Thanks.
