I would imagine the HDMI would be the best option, though I would doubt a
net book would have an HDMI out?

I use a scart input on a splitter plug that has Svideo and a pair of phono
stereo audio inputs. For this I need a stereo jack to phono audio cable and
an svideo to svideo cable to connect. Neither my tv or the pc have hdmi so
this is the only option. If the net book has an Svideo output then this
would work, however the screen resolution on mine is very low. An HD tv
could well have a much better viewable area but the limitation would be what
the Svideo can supply.

The first step is to work out what inputs and outputs you have on each
device and then see how they can be interconnected.
