Hi Eleanor

My understanding is that there was no real problem at all to just go
through the initial Windows questions such as name and keyboard language
during setup. I'm not aware that anything asking for registration
appeared, and certainly hasn't since I've been using it.

I hope you get up and running soon. I sympathise greatly with your
frustration at not having sighted assistance around. I copped out of
touching mine for the weekend when I bought it, and waited until I took
it into the office. I didn't see the point as there was nobody around
to help, and I couldn't guess without risking a right cock-up occurring!
(smile).

Fair enough James. I wonder if anyone who has had theirs set-up might
be able to tell me. Otherwise I will have to wait until tomorrow and
then I'll get it sorted.
