Hi, when I used Nero 5 back in the days when RNC used Windows Me on their network, files with a .nrg extension were created if I selected "virtual recorder", something like that, in the list of CD-ROM drives. However, since I don't use Nero I don't know if that's changed, but you could try selecting your "real" CD burner and see what happens. Good luck.

Hi AllAll day I've been trying to copy a CD with Nero 6. A program I've used happily for ages. However it starts to copy the data but then tries to make an image file with a .nrg extension. I guess it's making an iso disc not a normal copy, I just don's seem able to sort this one out so some help would be much appreciated. Many thanks Roger ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
