Hi,

A quick keystroke to save settings as well is,
CTRL + Insert, C.

Regards,
Barry.

Norman,

I took the liberty of changing the subject line so hope you don't mind.

All the options are on the NVDA menu. Press Insert and N (for November),
then Preferences, then Voice. Or if you want to use a different speech
synthesiser, it's Preferences and then Synthesiser, again followed by
Preferences and Voice is you still want to change the voice.

Be sure to save your changes by going to Insert plus N for the menu, the S
for Save Configuration. To save any changes automatically every time, go to
Prefernces, General Settings, then Save configuration on exit.

To get a list of all the NVDA keystrokes, go to the menu, Help, Keyboard
Command Quick Reference.

NVD~A works with a whole range of speech synthesisers, including Microsoft
SAPI4, SAPI5, MS Speech Platform, and several that are detailed on the NVDA
web site. So it works with voices too numerous to mention.

Vince.
