Further to my plea for help, I turned off NOD32 as suggested by Plus Net technical help, sent the preceding email, although I never stopped being able to send, closed down the computer with NOD32 turned off. I then restarted, re-enabled NOD32, did a reboot and, lo and behold, all seems back on the straight and narrow. If you coped with all of those cliches, do you have any clues as to whata might have happened? It is, hopefully, purely academic now, but I am curious. Hi folks, I've been using NOD32 for about 6 months without a problem. From about 11am today, I could not receive email from my ISP, Plus Net, using Outlook Express. After talking to technical support, they suggested I try turning off my anti-virus. I did this and, to my surprise, voila. Has anyone else seen this problem in the last 12 hours? If so, have you got a solution? All the best, Barry G __________ NOD32 2884 (20080218) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com
