Hi Andy,

I believe you need to be online before rebooting, because Nod will go out to
look for updates. Otherwise the virus definitions will be quite old, so you
need really to be online at the time of installation.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] NOD 32 Not installing

    Hi all.

I've just attempted to install NOD 32 on a new Media Center computer. After
the installation, which seemed to go well, I was asked if I wanted to
re-boot. I said yes and the computer did so. However, after boot-up, a
logo of Nod 32 appears on my display and WindowEyes says nothing. At first
I thought that NOD 32 was doing a complete system scan, so I left it for
over an hour, before re-booting again. The same thing happened and I'm now
15 minutes into the same problem.

I have not yet attached the Inthernet Cable to my Router as I wanted to be
protected before going on-line.

Does anyone understand what is going on, and should I turn off, connect the
Inthernet Cable and re-boot?

Any advise would be very welcome.

Best wishes.
Andy
