Subject: [access-uk] Re: NHS app
Hello everyone, please, accept my apology for this across posting. I just need
your opinion regarding my English level. I completely understand, that what I
posted below is irrelevant to this list. I apologise again. After the death of
George Floyd in America, many people protested nationwide. In Minneapolis and
other cities, police used tear gass and other elements to forcefully disperse
demonstrators. Routs have skittishly vandalised across the country.
Pandemonium has been broadly exhibited across major streets and magnificent
venues, including the White House region. When Trump demanded to go in public
walk though, environs ought to be utterly voided. This ongoing crisis has
actually revealed to us the essence of the culture there. Americans mostly talk
about loving each other than they act. This is you folks, just look at the way
you speak. Even your accent, is racially based. How many national broadcaster
speaks English that is not of your essentially colloquial version or its
various dialects? Americanism primarily consists of racial disparity.
I knew why might you be sternly disturbed hearing this. Nonetheless, your
allegedly democratic tenets are gravely fragile. Neither you nor your elected
officials genuinely resemble the never proved unique portrait of your disgraced
society. You shall instantly quit lecturing us on civil manner, law and order.
Racism will endeavour remain a domestic prob therein, unless you sincerely
destine to overpower its core motives. The chief theme of this vicious cycle is
obviously unjustified racial superiority complex and pride. Both factors got to
be necessarily disposed of. People there constantly debate white versus black
because of this country’s notorious history. Not long ago folks, in the fifties
of the last century, African Americans couldn’t drink from water fountains of
white people nor they could sit next to them in a bus. They furthermore
couldn’t use front entrances of restaurants in southern States. They had to get
in via back ones, often used by proletarians, who were considered to be of
lower class right then. You may need to bear in mind such crucial facts as you
attempt to find a solution for the problem. I am not spiteful of the situation
there. That’s not my disposal. I at the same time never coveted living in the
US. Lastly, with money, I could buy you the most expensive and delicious food
in the world, but I can’t get you the appetence to eat it. With money, I can
buy you the comfiest bed in the world, but, may not be able to provide you with
the desire to sleep.
With money, I may buy the proper vaccine or medical substance, but, it’s not of
my adequacy to heal. I hope you may consider applying these simple, but vividly
plain propositions in your everyday lives.
You don’t have the right to assume yourself better than me because you live in
rich country and I live in poor one. It doesn’t work like this at all. I hope
someone understands. Thanks and, best wishes.

What a performance I have had today. I rang my surgery to organise a
repeat prescription and she advised me to sign up to the NHS app on my
phone (it's the one with the blue square, she tells me unhelpfully.)
But, I did find it but it took nearly an hour to subscribe and I had
to enlist my husband's help in the end as it required my NHS number, a
picture of my passport and a video with me saying a 4 digit number.
Has anyone else subscribed to this app?
