[access-uk] NET Gem Updating Firmware And Searching For New Channels

Hiyas.
Can somebody please tell me how to get the I Player to search for new
channels, I.E. Film 4. Also how to upgrade the firmware.
We've tryed updating the firmware, but there are no voice prompts or any
other useful auditory feedback from the player , for progress, whither it's
successful etc.
