Hi all,

This will probably be my final update on this.

First, I am pleased to tell you that I've now sorted all (except one of)
my little problems with this card, reception, timer etc., and it's now
working really well and we're very pleased with our digital service and
audio description.

Someone asked the cost of this card and I was unable to find the figure
at that stage. I can now confirm that we paid a total of £124.86 (inc
P&P) for the USB version of this card. We could have purchased the PCI
for around the same price.

Ray, if you're still looking for good ways of recording programmes from
the radio, I don't think you can beat recording from this digital
method. I find it excellent and just so easy and convenient to record
from the radio or TV in this way.

Oh, our one remaining problem is that we haven't yet discovered how to
produce the audio description on a timed recording but are experimenting
with various settings to find this. Steve, if you know which file
format to use, please let me know. There is a check box for both audio
description and sub-titles and it may just be that we need to check both
of these to get that result, but I haven't yet worked through that
option.

I hope this additional information is of use.
