Try Power options in control panel, Samsung tend to go overboard with that sort
of stuff. Also, remove the Samsung Power Management solution

Subject: [access-uk] NC10 Screen and Changing A Setting

Hi
When I am writing on the keyboard of the NC10, the brightness of the screen
will change after a while or if I am reading a document so that it is not very
bright. I understand that this is probably a built-in setting so that when
using the battery not as much power is being used. I would rather the screen
stayed bright all of the time. I can bring back the bright screen by moving
the mouse and waking it up so to speak. Is there a setting I can change?
Sorry I am thinking maybe this problem is onloy when I am reading a document
rather than when I am writjing.

Eleanor
