Hi,
it looks that way. I am not sure what it is, but, it looks like my it
systems are breaking-down one by one. I lost the screen on my Mac, netbook
is dead, my son's computer is started making funny noises etc. I am watching
with interest to see where it takes me!

Thank you

Ali

hi. it sounds like a more serious fault in that case. it could be a graphics
system failear, issues with the CPU, or a failed inverter. without seeing it
it would be very difficult to comment...

all the best,

Mo.

        Hi,
I do not think it has anything to do with the memory compatibility,
as it does not start up with the original memory module is re-installed.
There is a memory compartment door where the ram is accessed.

        Thank you

        hi.

if its completely black the memory's probably incompatible. are you
sure you bought the right specification of DDR memory for your netbook?
there are a lot of varients/brands you can choose from. the NC10 as far as i
can remember you have to strip down to get to the ram slot, or does yours
have a door on the back? be careful how you put it back together and make
sure your screen cables and components are seated correctly.

        all the best,

        Mo.

                Hi Ali.

Are there any messages displayed on screen? If the memory
has not been installed correctly, there will be an error from the BIOS and
Windows will not boot.

                All the best, Ibrahim.

                Hi all,
                I just bought a 2gb RAM for my NC10. I replaced the old 1gb
with this one. However, the netbook does not turn on. I changed the ram
back to the original 1gb module still the same. The hard drive starts
spinning but nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea what went wrong?
Is there a reset button or something I can reset the unit?

                Thank you
