  Hi Eleanor,

Go into Talks, go to the Advanced tab and set Mute On Keylock. Then lock
your phone when not in use. You will now hear the tone. If Talks gets in
first and your phone is unmated, you won't hear it.

  All the best

  Steve

  Subject: [access-uk] N95 Message Alert

  Hi

I know if I turn of some setting then I will hear my message alert. At
present if I am right by the phone I might be luckey enough to hear it say
something but I want it to play the tune I have selected. I do have message
alert turned on but is there another setting maybe that I need to turn off?

  Eleanor
