Hi,

Can't comment on the Talks issue as I bricked my N86 yesterday and am
waiting for a replacement today. But the battery on that thing seems to
last forever even for the few days I was using it.

The N82 does have a very good camera on board and was touted as the best
camera phone in its league when it came out. Well, actually there was a
near tie between it and the N95 8GB. However, the N86 has an 8MP camera on
board so you may notice some improvement with that although the usual spiel
about megapixels vs. internal processing still applies.

I can't remember where the speakers are on the N82, but note that on the N86
they are both on the right hand side. Not sure if this is a major issue for
you but I know people who are quite particular about this.

HTH at least a little bit.

At present I have the N82 with KNFB reader complete with polarizer, the
presumably soon to be rendered useless WFA satNav and Talks 4. If I were to
up-grade to the N86 with Talks 5, apart from a more modern handset what
would the advantage be? I have heard that the N86 works better with KNFB; is

this true, does it still need polarises, is the battery life any better etc.

Please help if you can.

Thanks

Brian
