the original n82 had issues with the firmware, but a little firmware upgrade
would solve most of them i think.

Hi!
 
I personally love the phone however mine developed a fault on Thursday, the
housing for the sym card was loose so the phone would not connect to Orange,
the assistant in the shop fixed it but did mention that they only had the
N82 in the shop for 2 months as it had manafested a number of problems and
glitches. Orange did offer on the phone to replace it with another N82 which
they said they had a number of in stock, as I say, I love the phone!
