The BT exchanges are self reporting I was told by an engineer.if a fault is detected, the exchange sends a signal which brings up a fault at the faults centre.

Hello all.A few weeks ago I reported a problem with my phone. I thank you for the help. After checking it this morning I have noticed it is working again as I heard a dial tone. It looks like I had a fault at the exchange. Somebody then reported it to BT and they clearly fixed it.Many thanks again. Take care. -- Chris Hallsworth You can contact me at the following channels: E-mail and Facebook: challsworth2@xxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 Twitter: http://twitter.com/christopherh40 ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
