Up until then, I was able to do just as you describe by using an USB toserial converter on a Netbook or laptop. Unfortunately, FS have failed to deal with this problem in JAWS 11. I used JAWS when I was at work as it had better support for MS Office at that time but, as my husband preferred Window-Eyes, always used it at home.
