Hi Eleanor

I bought my PowerBraille some years back secondhand. I appreciate that things
change, more sophisticated technology appears on the market, and you move on
from operating system to operating system or version to version of a product.
And perhaps FS decided to remove serial support within JAWS 11 for reasons we
aren't privy to. Nevertheless, I am using Windows 7, need to run JAWS 11, and
want my PowerBraille to remain active. It can't be done, they aren't
interested in little me or the minority who use such displays, so therein lies
my choice. I can't afford six grand for a new Focus just because it supports
USB only, and there isn't anything wrong with my PowerBraille apart from old
age, and I know how that feels anyway, (big smile).

It's all about what suits the individual at the end of the day. I have my
reasons and bear no disrespect to anybody. I just have to do what suits me and
my budget.
