Hi,

I would unplug it when you turn off the laptop to be honest. It is still
drawing current, which of course, is wasting energy.

Hi All.

I am using a Seegate external drive which I keep connected to my laptop
permanently.

It runs all the time even if my laptop is off, does this harm it? Will it
burn out?
