Yes, if you have 'shake to shuffle' turned on from within settings\music. It usually takes a good shake to change tracks -

Hi. When I perform a double tap with 2 fingers to activate the music
player! How do I change the track without going into Music Player
itself? I thought you had to shake the phone.
