Peter, how completely bizarre. I've checked on all the phones we've got here,
and I find it no bother.

That is exactly what I did, but couldn't find the apostrophe.

    Hi Peter

If you press the star key during a message you are writing, (left of the
0), it will bring up a whole list of punctuation signs. Simply arrow through
these, left or right, and press the joystick to select when you get the one you
want. You will now find yourself back in your text message, and arrowing once
to the left will allow you to see that you have selected the symbol you want.
Some phones, depending on the model I guess, remember the most recent signs you
use, so that when you press star to bring up the list, the last punctuation
symbol you used is right there.

    I hope that helps.

    Jackie
