Hi Ray,

Stream is USB 2, though still slower than a card reader.

All the best

Steve

Very interesting Clive.

It would be nice if someone comes up with accurate info on the Milestone
312. I've found a news story at:
http://magnifiers.org/news.php?action=fullnews&id=331

There, mention is made of a USB interface for transfer of files. An RnIB
forum though is talking about the USB being only 1.1. So, which is it?

the modular approach is interesting; bolting on features that people want
thus tailoring this device to differing needs and how much one is prepared
to spend. Options such as a stereo mic, colour detector are mentioned in
the news story at the above link.

Mind you, the Bones website isn't a lot of use. Nice big pictures of
people, but near meaningless links and not much info, too.

Intriguing. Let's hear more, though I'm happy with my Victor Stream, USB
1.1 accepted.

Cheers,
Ray.
