I've set my spybot to run automatically every day. It has just finished as
I type and the system is clear. I've set the resident up too, so I don't
see the need to try MS again as it slowed the system down too much.
Cheers Dave
Jonathan, Following a post on this list a few days ago, I installed the MS tool yesterday although I run both Ad-aware and Spybotsd regularly.
I ran the MS Anti Spyware this morning and was told that my system was clear. I then ran Spybotsd and it found 2 threats. Admittedly they were only Double Click and Avenue A, but I think that it is advisable not to rely entirely on the MS tool at present. Incidentally with Ad- aware and Spybotsd, whichever order I run them in, the second usually finds things that the other has missed.

I'm running this, and having it do it's thing each night when I am sleeping. Strangely, whenever I run Spybot S&D, I get a heap of threats the MS program hasn't found or dealt with.
Am I the only person this is happening to?
