We are getting a shade off topic again with the spelling matter, clearly an
emotive subject, but one which could have been answered quickly as I did in my
own post. Then end of subject.
As regards advertising, I believe I have made it clear in the past that short,
on topic, announcements, ideally pointing to a web page for more information,
are acceptable.
However long forwarded messages from manufacturers, developers and such like
are not. Far better simply to say that XYZ have released ABC and full details
are at wherever.
