Hi Vince,
Thanks,
Hi Mike,
Presumably it depends what you want your system to do and what total memory it's got.
I run Rambooster, but it doesn't solve any problems long-term, it seems to me. If I watch the available memory as announced by Rambooster, it makes a difference for a few sexonds, and that might be enough to ease a problem you know you might get in the immediate future. To that extent it's useful.
Did your system slow down when you changed something? Installed a new device or program perhaps?
Vince.

Subject: [access-uk] Memory management in XP
Hi,
Is it worth running a programme such as ramboost under XP Home? My memory resources seem to be running low, i.e. 384 mb total, and 111 mb available. Or is it time for a memory upgrade?
Thanks for help,
Mike
