Hi George, Isn’t removing ‘the offender’ a bit harsh? Presumably all she did was to set an email rule to send an out of office each time a message was received, rather than using the out of office feature of the email program which only sends a message once to each recipient. I’ve often done the same if I’ve been away for a long period of time, though granted I don’t subscribe to lists from my work address. Surely a more commensurate reaction would have been to manually put her on vacation and send a friendly warning to the subscribe address. While the accumulation of messages was certainly more than annoying, the mistake was only made once and wasn’t, as far as I could see, a repeat offence. I find off topic messages more annoying than an innocent mistake.
