Dave, Here are some notes I wrote for Access 97 - the same general method seems to work for Access 2007, and so I presume all versions in between. 1. Create a new macro - in Access 97, open the View menu, Database Objects submenu and choose Macros, then Tab to the new button and press it. In Access 2007, go to the Create tab on the ribbon and choose Macro, which is right at the end of the lower ribbon. 2. You should be in a drop down list. In both versions of Access, press Alt + DownArrow to open the list and choose Maximise 3. Press Control + S to save the macro and name it Autoexec. This macro is run whenever the database first opens. That should do it. I know there is a keystroke available to maximize windows in access, when I find what it is, but if I could set it to always maximize on start up, that would be a lot easier. Thanks in advance.
