Mary, thanks for the thought, I'm not too concerned regarding M&S, as I don't tend to buy clothes or soft furnishings online, preferring to feel first; sometimes, I feel first in store, then find a better price online, but clearly it appears from the findings of others, to be a growing concern, and like I've said, really don't want to have to keep upgrading JFW just to get back what I had before. Let's hope our bombarding them will make a difference -

Thanks Carol. Between GW Micro and M and S, we should get it sorted. Sorry Andy, I am unable to suggest anything with Jaws but hope you find a solution.

Mary,

When I wrote to say it was working with Jaws 11, I did indeed look for a bath mat, taking a slightly different route and searching for Bath Mat to start with, but I still got the colour options up (Jaws indicated they were grapics but could tell me which was which) and I was able to select the proper items in the combo boxes.

Hi Carol,

When you are feeling better would you mind following
these exact steps, and anyone else on the list, please
feel free to try also.
Enter www.marksandspencer.com and on combo box select
house/furniture.
In the edit box type bathmat.

Then select plain dye bathmats.

You will see mink and white.

When reading this with Window-eyes the colours are not on
a link or combo box.and I can't select them with the
mouse. If you could follow this exactly with Jaws, I
would be most grateful. Select size and number of items
is on a combo box but not the colour.
Maybe Maureen and I are doing something wrong but if you
would all follow my steps, I would be most grateful.

Regards

Mary

Mary,

I was able to do it with Jaws 11. (I'm not sure what
you're using though Maureen had a problem with
Window-Eyes.)
Anyway, if it needs fixing then I hope they can do it
soon for you!

Yes Richard I have already sent an email off to them.
You are able to select size and number of items but not
the colour. I use this site occasionally so think it
must be a recent change because I didn't have any
trouble the last time.

Mary

Mary, I do hope that you will write. There seems to be
an increasing number
of sites which started well enough, but are now
slipping back.

Hi Maureen,

I see what you mean now. There's a combo box to select
size and amount but
nothing that lets you choose the colour. Think we will
have to get writing
to M and S.

Hi.

For those of you that are interested, and to Andy and
Mary, who took an interest in helping me with my
problem.
I mailed GWMicro, and was told this.

Yes the web site needs to implement links or onclicks
on the colors to make
it possible

Great! Another site that has upgraded making it
impossible for blind people
to use.

Maureen.
