With both the phone and headset levels at 100% I find it a little
loud, even on my local high street, which more resembles a bus
garage. I wear hearing aids, which probably makes things worse by
increasing the ambient noise.

I would have thought poor hearing would make bone conducting
headphones work better?

Yes I have but although the volume rocker is quite effective at home as soon
as I get out on the street and especially on traffic intensive ones I can't
seem to get it to work very well. I quite accept that it might be me getting
flustered. My hearing though not exceptional is not particularly bad.

Have you tried the volume rocker on the headset itself?

BTW, I like the name NotNow! All it needs is an app.
