Barry, My wife, who is partially-sighted, swears by the Multilens products.
she says that these are like hand held magnifiers but in a pair of glasses.

One of the things she likes is that she can, for example, now more easily
look at her mobile phone, as she has both hands free to do so.

Let me know if you want more info.

Subject: [access-uk] Magnifier to use with macular degeneration

Hi all

I've been asked to source some equipment that will allow an elderly man to
read newspapers and books who has macular degeneration. He doesn't want
talking books/newspapers or speech, just magnification. The good news is
that money is no problem.

I thought that Humanware's Prodigi Duo 2 in 1 electronic magnifier might be
ideal, but I'm open to suggestions.

Cheers

Barry
