Hi Emma, That helps a lot, thanks, I don't think I am going to be able to resist buying one, despite knowing that other MacBooks may be a better value. When I saw one in the Apple Store the other day, I just fell in love with it! Thanks, Annabel. It's really small and light, fits in your handbag. The battery life is good and the instant on feature means that you can just close the lid when you are finished and it goest to sleep. For the size of it, the speakers are great. I've just put windows XP on it as well. I haven't got the whole thing working yet but The machine doesn't seem to have any problems coping with that and Jaws on top of the Apple OS. Using Voiceover, the machine almost never slows or crashes. I find apple email brilliant on it and I have a lot of messages. I chose it over the Macbook Pro because of it's size and convenience so can't comment on processor power etc. It has two USB ports. The powerpack is really small and handy. Skype works perfectly well with and without a headset. Hope all that helps Regards Emma Tracey Content Producer http://www.bbc.co.uk/ouch Tel: +44 (0)208 7525469 Email: emma.tracey@xxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Annabell Sent: 09 January 2011 17:56 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] MacBook Air Hi, Does anyone have a MacBook Air and would you recommend it? You need to first create the playlist on the touch, so find the device, tab to the "new playlist" button hit enter and name the playlist. #Then navigate to the actual playlist on the PC, tab into the songlist and select all and copy it. Now navigate to the newly created playlist on the touch, tab to the list which will be empty, and control V to paste the songs from the playlist on the PC to the playlist on the touch. Of course if you elect not to manually manage music and have your touch permanently sunned with your Itunes library playlists will automatically copy.
