You have to think of a Mac Mini as something like a regular PC base unit squeezed down into a ultra small low profile unit. The new Minis have about 5 USB ports + Firewire and network ports. They also have an internal transformer which means you only need to hook them up with a figure of eight lead to power them (you can nearly always find these powering mains radios and some set top boxes). They have built in wireless and Bluetooth which back in the days of the early ones were build to order options. You either buy or provide your own keyboard, monitor and mouse. Regards.
