Compatability mode merely means you can edit the document. When you open an
ttachment, it is usually I protected mode, so you can't edit it until you
press f6 and tab down to convert it into compatability mdoe.

Subject: [access-uk] MS-Word 365 compatibility mode
Hi List,
I'm running windows 7 home premium, Office 365 with the latest version of
jaws. When I open a new word document, I'm Told that I'm in "Combatibility
mode". In previous versions I was in "Edit mode".
Any suggestions on this?
