Hi Kirsten.
I'm afraid I can't help.
However, I wanted to post and say that I also used to experience this with
Word 2003 and JFW.
Even after I'd maxamised the main window, child window, played about with
zoom, set the view to normal etc.
This may not be a viable solution but it's one of the reasons I switched to
window eyes a few months back. Windoweyes reads miles, miles, miles better
in Word than JFW.
I don't say that to start a screenreader war. I honestly believe that's
fact.
I'll be watching to see if you do get a solution as there are times when
I've no choice but to use JFW and still come up against this problem.

As you can probably guess from the below, I have upgraded from office 2002
to 2003 and it's not going well. I have a very strange query this time. I
have trouble reading parts of word documents, it just says "blank" rather
than reading the text that's actually there, this often happens when I write
something in the text as then the bit before it disappears. I remember this
happening a bit when I first started using o2002, but I got it sorted, the
thing is, I have no idea how I did it, so has anyone got any genius ideas?
It's not a major problem, but it is irritating! and strange ... When it
happened with 2002 I had J4.5, now I have 2003 and I have J7.
Thanks.

You can read .pub documents by opening them and saving them as .rtf files

Is there any way of using MS publisher (part of Office 2003) with Jaws
(v7)?
