Hi DJ.You could try MP3 Direct Cut. I don't use it myself but there's quite a few people using it on the PC Audio list. It's free, easy to use and can edit MP3's directly without first having to convert to a temporary WAV file which both Goldwave and Soundforge do.
There are some tutorials around as well if you want to look over what else the program can do.

Hi all, I've some mp3 files that I wish to split into smaller chunks.I've tryed mp3 split and book split. The latter being written by a blind guy but only supporting mp3s of 32bit.The first program, "Mp3 Split", I can't get either Window Eyes or Jaws to click on the buttons in it, or label graphics. The second doesn't support the mp3 file bit rates I'm working with, which is a shame as it looks a lovely simple to use program. Can anyone offer any suggestions?I can probably use mp3 surgeon, goldwave, or even if I wanted to go that route Soundfrodge to do the job. It seems a bit overkill to use big suites like these to do this simple job.If I google there's loads of programs out there but before I go and spend some considerable time downloading, installing and testing these I thought I'd throw this one out there in case people are using straight forward programs to do this.Cheers Dj Paddy ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
