Have you checked the menu option to 'read remote freedb'? This will access an
online database to fill in those track name details. Keep in mind, that not all
the database info is correct, but mostly, it's pretty good, and you can always
manually correct the various data fileds later -

This is probably not the right list for this question but no other list I’m
on is any better so I beg the moderator’s indulgence in not penalising me too
hard for this.
I’m in the process of moving my music CD collection from disc to an external
hard drive. I’m using CDex version 1.7 for this on a Win7 Home Premium 64 bit
system. What I’m finding is the task it working well but the track details are
not showing. I rip a disc and have track 1, track 2 etc. Who sang it and what
it’s called is not showing. I assume, once again, I’m doing something wrong so
could an expert enlighten me, please.
