Hi George.

My friend, who is fully sighted has recently purchased an mp3 player/tuner.
Don't know the make or model but it was the size of a thick bank card in
brushed silver. Surprisingly George, the radio reception was fantastic, so
perhaps your wife would like to include a radio eh?

Best wishes.
Andy.

  Subject: [access-uk] MP3 Players revisited

This may seem an odd question coming from me, but I know there's a shed load
of MP3 player experts here. I'm afraid I'm a total luddite in this area.

My wife, who is fully sighted, wants a very small, compact, simple to operate
MP3 player. The kind she can hang round her neck and move about the house with.

She would like it to be capable of storing the contents of at least 6 CD
talking books. I guess that must be around 3 - 4 Gigabytes.

Moreover, she's no computer whiz, so copying files to it needs to be simple.

Any suggestions, bearing in mind that accessibility is not an issue?

  George.
