Audacity 1.3 beta

Don't have the direct URL though.
As with all software, it takes a little learning.
It will give you up to 128 bit compression, but 32 should be good enough for
speech.

I have been trying to convert the K1000 text manual to a Daisy MP3 file so I
can transfer it to my stream. However, I get the message that I have no MP3
compression software. Can anyone suggest a free program that I could use for
this purpose.
