Hi Ray

What problems are you having with the BC? You can contact me off-list, on list or use the Book Courier user group (send mail to bookcourier-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "subscribe" in the subject line) and I'll see if I can help.

Andrew,

In a way, I am slightly compelled to upgrade Milestone as I still have problems downloading a daisy title to my BC here at home. But I have to admit, the BC takes a lot of beating!

Hi,

I for one am glad I didn't purchase one before now - I was under the impression the upgrade would be free from what I had read on the website and elsewhere.

I will probably just continue to use Book Courier, because I know that upgrades for the while are free, and it does what I need it to do.

Andrew.

Hi Paul,

I just wondered why would would have to pay extra for what is essentially a
firmware update. It's been free for years to have Daisy on the Book
Courier, once you had bought it. It would make it much more marketable I
feel if Daisy just came with it, as it does the Book Courier and other
devices.

Hi Brian,

Did you know though, they charge an extra 15 quid or thereabouts just for
Daisy support?

Sorry to those on another list where I've already asked a similar
question.
Does anyone know whether the new firmware version for the Milestone, V2.6,
supports daisy files? The release notes accompanying the download don't
say. But I've heard a suggestion that it now does.
