Hi George,

Finally fixed it, thanks. Although it appeared to be maximised, I needed to close the app completely and go through the max cycle of both folder and file when opened ... and suddenly there it was fixed!

It's a bit like OE sometimes when it appears (from speech) that you've done the maximise process but in fact it hasn't happened!)

Sorry to add more list traffic - but now solved! <Smiles>

Hi Carol,

If you close the worksheet, and re-open it, does it then
read correctly?

George.

Subject: [access-uk] MICROSOFT EXCEL PROBLEM WITH JAWS 10

Hi all,

I have a problem which occurs from time to time with the
names of sheets.
Using INS+T the name of the sheet is announced properly.
As I move from
sheet to sheet with CTRL+PGDN or CTRL+PGUP the sheet name
is also announced
correctly. (Now, here's where the problem occurs.) If I
wish to rename a
sheet, sometimes having pressed "Enter" to do this, the
sheet name can no
longer be read in the edit box with Jaws. This is
infuriating when I want
to alter the sheet name by, say, one number or just a few
characters.

I can't fathom what causes this problem to occur and
certainly can't make it
right again ...

Any help most gratefully received.
