Steve, I wasn't crying "inaccessibility".

I was in fact saying I use Maplin quite successfully with JAWS. What I had
to get used to was the fact that after hitting E for that edit field, a
screen reader command I knew by the way, JAWS says

"Keep up to date with our promotions, simply drag or paste this link into
your reader".

That's what was throwing me to begin with, nothing else!

| Hi Darren,
|
| To hit the search edit field in JAWS, just hit E. That jumps you to the
| next edit box, wherever it is. I think most of it is knowing your screen
| reader. I have said this before, and I'll say it again. We have to be
| careful when we cry inaccessibility, if we don't know our screen readers.
| Yes, I agree that Maplin is busy with loads of offers and stuff, which
makes
| it pretty cluttered, but inaccessible, no.
|
| All the best
|
| Steve

| I also use Maplin on a regular basis with JAWS 7.1 and 8. Yes its a bit
| cluttered, but other than that I normally can find what I'm after without
to
|
| much trouble.
|
| The one thing I did have a problem with recently, after their site
changes,
| was finding the edit field to do a search, but once I discovered what I
| needed to do things now tend to go pretty smoothly.
|
| What specifically are people having problems with on Maplin's site?
