Hi Darren,

To hit the search edit field in JAWS, just hit E. That jumps you to the
next edit box, wherever it is. I think most of it is knowing your screen
reader. I have said this before, and I'll say it again. We have to be
careful when we cry inaccessibility, if we don't know our screen readers.
Yes, I agree that Maplin is busy with loads of offers and stuff, which makes
it pretty cluttered, but inaccessible, no.

All the best

Steve

I also use Maplin on a regular basis with JAWS 7.1 and 8. Yes its a bit
cluttered, but other than that I normally can find what I'm after without to

much trouble.

The one thing I did have a problem with recently, after their site changes,
was finding the edit field to do a search, but once I discovered what I
needed to do things now tend to go pretty smoothly.

What specifically are people having problems with on Maplin's site?
