Hi Steve,
no, I've checked and it is M4B.  It's an audio book that is in this format 
which needs to be converted into MP3 if I am to play it on my Victor Stream.

  Are you sure it is not M4V? I have not heard of M4B. But if you are talking 
of M4V, then iTunes can handle them.
