Looks like I may have answered my own question, so if anyone is looking for
an M4A to MP3 converter, the one at the address below seems to work for me.
It allows you to convert a series of individual files, or to add whole
folders, including sub folders, for conversion. I just haven't managed to
find the button to get it to it by folders rather than files yet.
