Text Aloud is not a screenreader buut a text2audio program that will 
read aloud text files or convert them to audio.

Another free alternative for screen access is Nonvisual Desktop 
Access (nvda) from

http://www.nvaccess.org/nvda/

This is alpha software still though.

With aner, I think the best you can do is download a demo/copy and 
just try them for yourself to seeif they meet your needs and expectations.
