Only thing I can say is, would reinstalling Kertzveil re-install SAPI 4? I
presume K1000 and the other voices you cannot access depend on this and
won't work with SAPI 5?

Sorry for yet another post on this subject but as yet no one has come back
with any suggestions.
Some how I have managed to lose sapi 4. All the sapi 4 voices are listed
on my system, but if I select one of them, my computer goes silent. I can
use sapi 5 voices, but prefer sapi 4 for general screen reader use. Also,
as my k1000 has a sapi 4 voice set as the default, I am not able to use this
application. I have obviously deleted something relating to sapi 4, so
would be extremely greatful if someone could come up with any suggestions.
