Hi Ibrahim -I think the class rating only really comes in to play when transfering data say from the PC on to the card, it doesn't affect the card's performance in the phone, so for me, the slower transfer speed is not really significant. Currently I have an 8GB Sandisk card in my phone, but don't know what class it is, but dropping books and music on to it is very fast.
Perhaps you or somebody can say if they've found any significant slow down between using a class 2 over say a class 6 card? -

Hi Andy.Indeed, just looking at prices again, the play 16GB card plus card reader is a class 4 rather than a class 2, so its faster but now come down from £29.99 to £23.99, so a hit but a small one.All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "ANDY COLLINS" <Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 22, 2010 10:29 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Looking for memory cards for my mobile phoneHi Ibrahim -I guess getting the card reader as well makes it less of a hit--amazing how these things drop in price over time. The Play 32gb at £59 something looks a good deal for that size card, but expensive of course when put up against the 16gb at £16.95. Supply and demand I guess -Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "Ibrahim Gucukoglu" <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 22, 2010 8:10 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Looking for memory cards for my mobile phoneHi Andy.Ouch, looks like I caught this on a bad day, I just bought the said 16GB memory card for £29.99, but that was with a memory card reader from play. Ah, well as they say, you win some and you lose some. Thanks for the heads up on this deal though, I can now persuade my brother to upgrade his memory on his old Nokia E51.All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "ANDY COLLINS" <Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2010 7:35 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Looking for memory cards for my mobile phoneHi Adrian -I believe all cards for mobile phones need to be the micro sdhc variety. You can find a 16gb card on Play for about £17.95, but I have notice that play are bringing out a 32gb in a few days, for about £59, [hence the 16gb's price drop] which is about the best price at the moment.HTH - Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "Adrien Collins" <adriencollins22160@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: "'access uk'" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2010 7:17 PM Subject: [access-uk] Looking for memory cards for my mobile phoneHi When I look for memory cards for my mobile phone on play.com for example, what are they actually called?
