Hi all,
I came across a piece of software today called KiXtart, which is a network
management solution. It allows mapping of specific drives for specific user
groups using scripts. For example, I can tell it
use H: \\server\@UserID$
and it will map a drive, drive H, in my computer, for a user to store files on.
The '@UserID$' string makes sure that a different folder is mapped for each
user, for example if I log on it will map
james on 'server' (H:) and then if say my sister logged on it would map
heather on 'server' (H:)
Anyway, you get the picture, basically it generates logon scripts. However, it
is a commandline based application, and quite honestly I'm hopeless with
commandline stuff. So, is there a similar application out there which does a
similar thing, but in a GUI based interface? Or is there a GUI interface for
KiXtart? Thanks,
