I don't know where the line-out socket on the card is sorry. You won't get the full benefit of the digital out on the card unless you plug it into a digital in in your hifi though. --------- Original Message -------- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: "access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [access-uk] Re: Line-Out in Creative Soundblaster 24 bit external card Date: 20/12/06 09:31 Hi Sunil I have since last night discovered that the SPDIF stands for Sony/Philips Digital interface and is indeed an output. However, I wonder if I need a similar connection on my hi-fi to benefit from this socket? I do have an Optical in/out on the card, but none on my hi-fi. You said that I may as well use the cards standard line-out. Do you know where is this Sunil? I cannot seem to locate it. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sunil" <bosley20@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 20, 2006 6:57 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Line-Out in Creative Soundblaster 24 bit external card >I think it's an optical line out which would connect to an optical in on an > amp.
