Hi Jacky

Reading some of the posts on the vr stream list on the us
site, you can do it using mpu files and the companion.

Regards

Adrien

Yes, I agree with that Adrien, it would be at the top of my
wish list for
updates in the future.

Hi

Perhaps the added feature to actually allow us to add a
station would be useful

Hi Guys,
I spoke with Humanware today, about why some stations that
are already on
the ootunes database, are not accessible on the Victor
Reader Stream. The
answer I was given was, some radio streams are done in wma
format, and the
VRS cannot play these, it will only play streams in mp3, or
aac formats. If
you are after a particular station, that does not appear in
the ootunes
database, if you google to find out the type of media stream
that it is
broadcasting in, you will be able to determine if the VRS
will even be able
to receive it, before you ask for it to be added to the
database..
Hope this clarifies things a little.

Regards.
Jim.

I was able to find BBC radio Scotland on the ootunes website
and on the
ootunes app on my iphone but not on ootunes on the stream. I
have also been
unable to find some local radio stations.

There is an option to import stations from an ootunes file
but I haven't
worked out how to do this yet.

Paul

Hi David

I think we might have to contact OoTunes and ask for the
stations to be
added. They are not there at the moment.

I am going to try contacting them later today.
